Wednesday 29th October- A Delightful Evening at The Shadow Bazaar of Rooks with The Rook’s Den

On Wednesday evening, I was delighted to join Lee and the team from The Rook’s Den for a special mid-week gathering: the “Shadow Bazaar of Rooks”. Although I relish large weekend fairs, there’s something wonderfully energising about a weekday evening event (this one ran from 5pm-9pm)-  an intimate after-hours vibe, with the space relaxed and attendees more open. I first connected with Lee when we worked together at a previous Rook’s Den event, and each time I work with him I sense growth, consistency and a real community feeling. This evening was no exception-  I’m noticing familiar faces now, other practitioners I’ve met before, and a stronger sense of camaraderie rather than competition. It felt comfortable and collaborative. The venue was filled with an eclectic collection of stalls: alternative crafts, divination tables including mine, food and drink, ambient music setting the mood, and a friendly crowd.

During a lull I even wandered over to the stall next to mine with Craig and bought a hot-sauce blend- later that evening we headed home and made fajitas with it as a little celebratory after-event treat. Delivering tarot readings for me at this event was again a privilege. The evening setting invites clients who maybe didn’t have time on a weekend, or who prefer the quieter hours - and I was grateful to receive many heartfelt questions and meaningful guidance opportunities. Huge thanks again to Lee and everyone at The Rook’s Den for creating such a welcomed space, and to all the clients who sat with me, shared their journeys and trusted in the messages that came through.
