I had the incredible opportunity to read tarot at my very first festival this summer, the vibrant and soul-enriching Barefoot Festival, held from Friday 25th to Monday 28th July. It was a magical experience that exceeded all my expectations, and I’m excited to share a little glimpse of what it was like. The festival was a true celebration of creativity, wellness, and community. From the moment I arrived, I was surrounded by a delightful array of stallholders offering wellbeing services, handmade products, and unique clothing. The festival grounds also featured a wide selection of food trucks and stalls, ensuring there was something delicious for every taste.
Each day was packed with inspiring events, from morning yoga sessions to shamanic drumming and ecstatic dance, creating an atmosphere that was both grounding and energising. There was also a live music tent, where incredible performances filled the air throughout the weekend, providing the perfect soundtrack for the festival’s lively yet peaceful energy. As a tarot reader, this was my first time sharing my practice in a festival setting, and it was such a rewarding experience.
